100 CFS Projects for L.L. Bean's 100th!

2012 is a commemorative year for both the ACA and our partners at L.L. Bean. This year marks L.L. Bean's 100th Anniversary! It is also the 10-year anniversary of our partnership to provide the Club Fostered Stewardship Program, which has funded exactly 100 stewardship initiatives since its inception.

Since 2002, the ACA and L.L. Bean has given out over $83,000 to 100 projects across the country. The ACA is proud to announce that this year has been the most competitive year yet for applicants to our CFS Grant program! Before the start of April, the ACA was able to award all 2012 funding to 19 deserving initiatives from coast to coast. This year's winning projects range from cleanups of the Harlem River by urban divers to installing trail signage along 60 miles of the Delaware River, from producing a documentary about the historic Elwha dam removal (the largest in US history!) to the development of marine debris programs for youth in the Chesapeake, and so much more.

Check out all the great projects that are being funded this year!
