Tracking Trash Makes a Difference

The ACA would like to congratulate Clean Jordan Lake on a job well done! The North Carolina-based organization was founded in 2009, and since then it has removed more than 180,000 lbs of trash, coordinated more than 3,000 volunteers, and collected approximately 3,400 tires!

Nearly 250,000 citizens depend on Jordan Lake for clean, safe drinking water. It also serves as a popular recreational destination for anglers, kayakers, and swimmers.

Kudos to Clean Jordan Lake for their hard work. Not only are they exceptional trash picker-uppers, but they also know how to make it fun! Now that's impressive.

Looking for an easy way to keep track of the trash collected at your next clean-up? The ACA can help. Visit our Paddle Green Track Trash website for more information.
