Canoeing in the 2016 Paralympic Games

Part of the ACA's mission is the promotion of Competition. Board Member Pam Boteler, an international canoe competitor, assists the ACA's competition initiatives by providing information and insights from the international level.

We all love to paddle. Why? It's great to be outside in beautiful places with friends who share our passions. Imagine if each of us could do something that would make that experience more enjoyable, safer and more rewarding for everyone. That's exactly the idea behind ACA's "Do One Thing For Paddling" initiative. We've started a Facebook page with just this goal in mind. Virginia Collegiate Canoe & Kayak Race

If you attend a college or university in the Commonwealth of Virginia, mark your calendar for April 9-10, 2011.

The annual race will take place in Fredericksburg along a section of the scenic Rappahannock River.

The Virginia Outdoor Center will once again be our title sponsor.

On-site camping will be available for all teams, free of charge!
