New ACA Job Opening

Position Title: Stewardship Coordinator

Department: Stewardship & Public Policy Department

ACA Mission:
Founded in 1880, The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling; stewardship support to help protect paddling environments; and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition and recreation.

Department Overview:
The Stewardship & Public Policy Department manages all aspects of the ACA’s grassroots efforts to provide appropriate access to clean water on America’s rivers, lakes, streams, bays, coastlines and oceans. This department coordinates a range of water based clean ups throughout the country, from freshwater rivers to the marine environment as well as providing funding and support to local and regional paddling clubs. In addition, this department represents the ACA in a wide range of local, regional and national public policy initiatives that have a direct impact on paddlesports and the various paddling environments.
