Check out Some of These Stars of the Stewardship World

Since 2002, the ACA has partnered with L.L. Bean to sponsor the Club Fostered Stewardship (CFS) Program. The CFS Program provides funding to clubs and organizations that undertake stewardship projects on waterways in their area.

With the help of L.L. Bean, we have been able to provide nearly $130,000 to over 135 different stewardship initiatives since the program's inception.

This year's CFS Grant recipients are...

Anchorage Waterways Council
Boardman River Clean Sweep
Cahaba Riverkeeper
Greyhound Central Performance Academy

Colorado River Alliance
Friends of the Rappahannock
Friends of the Waterbury Reservoir
Illinois Paddling Council
Northern Forest Canoe Trail
Paddle Without Pollution
Plastic Tides
River Restoration Adventures for Tomorrow
South Dakota Canoe & Kayak Association
Spokane River Forum
Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association

To learn more about these organizations, and the stewardship projects they are championing across the country, please stay tuned to our blog, Facebook, and Twitter, where we will be highlighting each of the CFS grant recipients in the coming weeks!
